Better processes, higher payment rates and simple implementation
Thanks to the bidirectional SAP connector from collect.AI and DSC, you can integrate our SaaS solution seamlessly into your SAP environment, synchronize receivables and payment data in real time, reduce manual effort and thus benefit from more flexible processes, higher data quality and increased payment rates.

Status Quo
Current challenges in receivables management for energy suppliers
Outdated approaches
Energy suppliers have a particularly large customer base and have to process enormous volumes of receivables on an ongoing basis. However, many companies use approaches that are no longer appropriate in the digital age. For example, in communication: letters are usually used, but these are slow, not very customer-friendly and costly. On top of this, letters lack the necessary measurability to obtain data and insights for process optimization. Similarly, energy suppliers often still only offer traditional payment methods, which achieve significantly lower rates than modern methods. And this in turn has a negative impact on cash flow.
Inefficient processes
In addition, cumbersome manual workflow steps slow down receivables management at many energy suppliers. Optimizations and changes to such processes and other details such as forms are usually difficult to implement in the existing SAP system. SAP adaptations require specialized expertise that is rarely available within the company and has to be purchased externally. This results in high costs and delays. If the system is to be optimized again in the future, the financial and time costs are incurred anew each time.
Lack of optimization
What is needed is an approach that addresses the challenges faced by energy suppliers in receivables management (process efficiency, customer friendliness, payment rate) while also being easy to implement and allowing for continuous optimization. This is exactly what collect.AI's SaaS platform makes possible, and the SAP connector for the energy industry developed in collaboration with DSC now makes it even easier to implement.
The new bidirectional SAP connector from collect.AI and DSC
Seamless integration optimizes receivables management for energy suppliers
The SaaS solution allows energy suppliers to efficiently optimize their receivables management. To facilitate implementation, collect.AI has developed a connector specifically for the industry together with SAP specialist DSC. This makes the connection to the existing ERP system simple, seamless and resource-saving. The connector is based on SAP FI-CA (SAP subledger accounting for high document volumes) and works with standardized data points for data mapping as well as scenarios that are typical for energy suppliers. Lean implementation ensures high data efficiency. Thanks to the bidirectional design of the interface, data can flow in both directions, i.e. from SAP to collect.AI and vice versa. The new SAP connector offers a number of important advantages:
Automation through smart assistants
Smart Assistants are AI modules that help you to automate and optimize processes. Our "Smart Intent Recognition" assistant, for example, analyses the written responses of your end customers and recognizes and classifies customer feedback.

- Few internal IT resources required: in-house development of an SAP interface is not necessary
- Simple onboarding: The SAP connector simplifies the implementation of the SaaS solution, and the standard dunning process can be run immediately.
- Fast, flexible, less prone to errors: the SAP connector is powerful and stable.
- Further development and operation by DSC and collect.AI: Energy suppliers can rely on extensive benefits with guaranteed secure operation - thanks to proven expertise in AI and receivables management (collect.AI) and SAP & middleware (DSC).
- Future-proof: the connector can still be used even after migration to S/4 HANA.
Fast optimization, better results
Implementing attractive use cases: Practical options for energy suppliers
More flexibility, greater automation, efficient processes: These are just some of the benefits of the SaaS solution with SAP connector. Energy suppliers can implement optimizations much faster. Inefficient workflows are adapted promptly and customer-centric offers improve the customer experience. AI-supported assistants support automation, identify further optimization potential and provide in-depth insights. Innovative adjustments such as new payment methods or additional digital communication channels can also be adapted much faster and, above all, more cost-effectively.
