Since the amendment to the GVV came into force on 31.12.2021, energy supply companies have been faced with the challenge of offering interest-free installment payments for defaulting customers. As part of this avoidance agreement, energy supply companies are faced with the task of setting up a process that represents the installment payment together with the verification of incoming payments. Installment plan
Via our platform, customers receive communication about outstanding amounts and can pay the amount immediately via a landing page or choose to pay in installments. The settings for installment plans are flexible and can be configured by the energy supplier for different scenarios. After agreeing an installment plan, customers receive a confirmation by e-mail and can download it as a PDF. Optionally, a SEPA direct debit mandate can be issued, which simplifies payment processing for customers and minimizes the risk of default for energy suppliers.
Payment methods
Does your customer decide to pay the full amount directly? In this case, our platform offers the option of selecting a variety of payment methods for you, giving your end customers the opportunity to use their preferred payment method. The new bidirectional SAP connector from collect.AI and DSC
Seamless integration optimizes receivables management for energy suppliers
The SaaS solution allows energy suppliers to efficiently optimize their receivables management. To facilitate implementation, collect.AI has developed a connector specifically for the industry together with SAP specialist DSC. This makes the connection to the existing ERP system simple, seamless and resource-saving. The connector is based on SAP FI-CA (SAP subledger accounting for high document volumes) and works with standardized data points for data mapping as well as scenarios that are typical for energy suppliers. A lean implementation ensures high data efficiency. Thanks to the bidirectional design of the interface, data can flow in both directions, i.e. from SAP to collect.AI and vice versa. The new SAP connector offers a number of important advantages:
- Few internal IT resources required: in-house development of an SAP interface is not necessary
- Simple onboarding: The SAP connector simplifies the implementation of the SaaS solution, and the standard dunning process can be run immediately.
